Q. Last Year's festival was very crowded. Will it be the same this year?
A. No. This year's festival is split into 2 sessions so only 1/2 the crowd will be there at one time.
Q. Will there be a long line to get into the festival?
A. There shouldn't be. In addition to cutting the crowd in half we are using a new electronic entry system that should speed up the admission process.
Q. What happens if it rains?

Just like any New York City street festival, Beer on the Pier is a completely outdoor event and is rain or shine. You should bring an umbrella or poncho if there is a chance of rain. However, Beer on the Pier 2 does have a "Big Top" standing by to provide some shelter.
Q. What's the crowd like at Beer on the Pier?
A. There are two main types of beer festivals in the United States. Some are like trade shows and others are like festivals. Beer on the Pier is the latter. If you are looking to discover new beers and breweries in a fun, high energy, festival - like atmosphere with great beer and live music then Beer on the Pier is the festival for you.
Q. My cup broke last year. Will they be stronger this year?
A. Yes, the tasters cups will be virtually indestructible this year.
Q. Why are the tickets more expensive this year?
A. Actually, the tickets are the same price. Last year the tickets were advertised at face value of $35.00 but after the service charge they cost $41.50. This year we are simply including those costs in our advertising .
Q. The bathroom line was very long last year. Will there be more bathrooms available this year?
A. Yes. In addition to reducing the size of the crowd by half, Beer on the Pier is also doubling the number of bathrooms.
Q. Will tickets be available the day of the event?
A. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly. We receommend purchasing your tickets early if you are planning to attend. Once tickets are sold out, they will not be available at the door.
